The Takisawa TK Series is designed to be constructed in versatile configurations so that you can choose the swing 400 or 600 and 6-/8-station turret combination according to the workpiecess, process, tooling layout, or automation plan. The Takisawa TK Series models provide a strong and robust, yet compact solution for space-saving turning operations, allowing milling/drilling tools to be installed creating a "combined CNC lathe" at a reasonable cost. These machines are suitable for heavy-duty cutting and high accuracy stable machining of gear blanks, hubs, brake discs, drums, etc.
These lathes are capable of chucking deformed workpieces that would prove very dificult to set on an horizontal standard lathe. Powerful and convenient they are also versatile.
Main characteristics of the TK Series:
Tall, and rigid structure
Bed and column structure us resistive to "torsion".
Powerful performance
11kW (TK-2) / 22kW (TK-25) main motors
Compact width
Space-saving vertical configuration allows flexible and small transfer distances
