NIKKEN's SLIM CHUCK w/ TiN BEARING NUT tool holder provides high-speed rotation (up to 40,000 min-1) along with high accuracy and coolant-through capabilities. The unique TiN bearing helps achieve low run-out and high accuracy thanks to an equal flat shoulder pushing on the insert, resulting in a high gripping force that prevents collet movement due to high pressure from coolant going through the chuck and cutting tool. Along with an 8° tapper design, the TiN bearing is also used in the MAJOR DREAM holder and the VC holder.
Slim Chuck can be used for all milling, drilling, reaming, and rigid tapping applications, covering sizes Φ0.7 to Φ25.4, L60 to L300, to respond to diversification and complication of applications. Slim Chuck has a wide variety to deal with various taping specification standards, BT Taper, BT 2-Face Contact Taper, HSK Taper, CAT Taper, Polygonal Taper, Nikken's unique BT 3LOCK Taper, and NC5 Taper.
