Diaphragm chucks feature high levels of elastic retention precision and a reliable structure that can prevent deterioration of accuracy due to internal wear and chips. For that reason, they are mainly used for high-precision finishing operations, such as the machining of compressors screw mechanisms, and are also used in the body of the gear chuck body.
TYPES: Master Jaw・Diaphragm Chuck / Floating Diaphragm Chuck / GC Cage type Gear Chuck / Bevel Gear Chuck
- Master Jaw・Diaphragm Chuck Type:
Very simple piping installation. Offers 0.002TIR chucking accuracy for long-time gripping accuracy and superb axial and end face accuracy.
- Floating Diaphragm Chuck Type:
High precision grinding center compensation chuck for precise-centered machined pieces such as crankshafts. The irregular run-out of the revolving driving unit is absorbed, enabling highly precise processes.
- GC Cage Gear Chuck Type:
Water and dust-proof chuck with an interchangeable three-pin design cage which easily corresponds to various kinds of geared workpieces.
- Bevel Gear Chuck Type:
The BG chuck is able to keep machining accuracy to the gear surface by interchangeable type of gear cages based on 3 kinds of chucks (the Universal Gear chuck, the Face Clamp chuck [Jaw escaping type], and the UBL Compensating type).
