The H550Xd1 achieves highly efficient machining of long workpieces that require multi-face work, therefore covering a broad range of machining applications: automotive, aerospace, medical, hydraulic, etc. The B-axis table provides a large machining volume of up-to 580mm height x 600mm diameter (.348m³). The H550Xd1 has a smaller area surface around 20% smaller than a usual equivalent competitor's BT40 machine.

The B-axis table's roller gear cam sturdy construction achieves a rotary speed of 100min-1 on a 400mm² with a 300kg load capacity, enabling it to handle heavy workpieces and jigs while maintaining high turning speeds.
